The second step in the Callaway Golf in Schools program, Tee 2 features unique curriculum created for grades 4 through 6.

 

 

Equipment and Material

All participating schools will receive the PHE approved golf learning resource and Tri-Golf equipment (for grades K-6) containing junior golf clubs, putters and tennis balls to facilitate chipping and putting. Schools will also receive Callaway golf clubs and Birdieballs for grades 6-8.

 

 

Learning Outcomes

Learning outcomes include integers (scoring), language (golf terminology), safety precautions, group work dynamics and short game basics (putting & chipping).

 

o       Demonstrate cooperation, fair play and safe behaviours.

o       Understanding of “force” and spatial awareness

o       Display the correct grip for holding and striking

o       Demonstrate a fluid swing

o       Display safe movements in class activities

o       Show an understanding of technique
